Busch Stadium; St. Louis, MO
Food- 7.5/10
I had the pizza, a pretzel, and a souvenir soda. I don’t remember the exact price but I know the slice of pepperoni pizza was around $9. Which is absurd. The pretzel was good, pizza was ok. I was in the 200 section behind home plate and they had their own area with special restaurants that I thought were cool. A margarita place, pizza place, your typical ball park food place, and a build your own salad and Asian food restaurant. So actually a really cool variety of food.
Atmosphere- 7.5/10
They beat the Pirates 10-5. No major complaints, but also not exactly anything special either. Just a really good experience. Great in between inning activities, the people who are there truly care about the game and the Cardinals. Nice attendants, ushers, and workers which was great to see.
Stadium- 7.5/10
Its really tough to beat the view from Busch. You have this relatively new stadium, with a great grass design, surrounded by Cardinal red, with the Arch and part of the St. Louis skyline as a backdrop. Really easy to navigate, escalators everywhere, with workers there directing you and helping you at the top of each one. Clean and kept up as well.
City- 6/10
Its a bigger, more spread out, slightly cleaner Memphis. Crazy drivers, kinda rundown. The suburbs are nice, some of them at least. Definitely recommend going to see the Arch if you’re there.
Overall- 7.5/10
A more than above average stadium and experience, should for sure be on your list of places to go to. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, great weather, great people, and great atmosphere.
