Food- 5/10

I decided to get the chicken tenders and fries and a bottle of Coke at the White Sox game this time. I was on my way to Milwaukee so I wanted something relatively safe. It was $24. It had no sauce. I didn’t even see a sauce station. Needless to say, it was not a great food experience. They did have a rather large variety of options at the stadium, especially with desserts. Unfortunately, the dessert that I really wanted, the S’mores milkshake, was only available in the season ticket holder only lounge.

Atmosphere- 3/10

Extremely poor atmosphere. Boring game as well, A’s won 2-0. I know its the White Sox and they’re trash, but its Chicago. You’d think it would at least be a half decent turnout. But, it wasn’t. An extremely quiet crowd, hardly any things over the PA speakers to get the crowd going either. It was so quiet I could hear the traffic outside the stadium.

Stadium- 4/10

To go along with a poor atmosphere, is a poor stadium as well. Traffic, awful. Parking, awfuler. I was walking down the ramps they have in between tiers of sections and saw vomit twice on my way down. The only saving grace was that they had a lot of photo opportunities spread out across the stadium.

City- 6/10

Southside Chicago. The traffic was quite unbearable. Far worse than what Atlanta’s was. I didn’t do much exploring, just driving through but the parts that I was exposed to were definitely not fun. Homeless people walking next to cars eating leaves off the branches hanging in the turn lane to get on the stadium grounds. No directions to different parking lots once the few they have are full. However, if you were to tell me to imagine what a city skyline looked like, the Chicago skyline is exactly what I would picture; as you can see, it is visible from the stadium with an actually really cool view.

Overall- 4/10

Worst experience so far. Food not good. Quiet. Absolutely terrible traffic, parking, and getting out of parking lot. Terrible team. Should be nowhere near the top of your list of stadiums to visit.
